For Elise Hatsuko branded pieces, we make each item to order.

Rather than producing in bulk, these pieces are created once they are chosen. This approach allows us to move with intention—making only what is needed, when it is needed.

In a traditional system, large quantities are produced in advance, often leading to excess inventory that is discounted, discarded, or forgotten. For our in-house Elise Hatsuko line, we have chosen a different path.

This model is informed by a background in supply chain management, with a focus on both profit optimization and waste reduction. By producing only what is required, we are able to operate more efficiently while avoiding unnecessary excess.

These pieces are made using recycled materials wherever possible, with a focus on creating garments that feel considered, wearable, and lasting. This is not about perfection. It is about being mindful of what we make and how it enters the world.

Because each item is made to order, it may take a little longer to arrive. That time reflects a slower, more deliberate process—one that values quality over urgency.
