This textile was woven by an artisan from the lakeside village of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. It was woven using a back-strap loom, a time honored method of weaving. This traditional pattern represents Santiago Atitlan’s woven stripe and was made in partnership with a non-profit organization on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
Featured in Architectural Digest, The Maryn, The Everygirl, in Los Angeles showroom Lawson Fenning and photographed in the homes of Cecilia Pirani, Kelly Haines, Michelle Adams and Abigail Doan and Christene Barberich, Studio Ruchi pictured.
